This execution of the Autavia 2446 (first case - second dial) is nicknamed Jochen Rindt after the racing driver who won both Le Mans 1965 for Ferrari and posthumously Formula One 1970 in a Lotus 72.
When I got this watch the dial had hundreds of chalk stars on the dial, probably due to water entering the watch. Watchmaker Giancarlo Martini from Parma, Italy made a fantastic job cleaning the dial - see the double photo.
